Allen Cox, B.S. in General Studies 1994, retired after 29 years in telecommunications and marketing management. He is now a freelance writer with an emphasis in travel writing. Viva List Latin America: 333 Places and Experiences That People Love, published in April 2007, features his essays and photos. His articles also have appeared in NW Travel Magazine, GoNOMAD, and Travel Mag (UK).

Sue Ann Heutink, M.Ed. in Guidance and Counseling 1994, was chosen as The American Legion Department of Washington Educator of the Year for grades seven through 12. She received the honor at the Nooksack Valley School board meeting on March 15, 2007. 

Dustin Salisbury, M.Ed. 2005, now is completing his principal internship and has accepted the position of principal at Lewis and Clark Elementary School in Caldwell Idaho.
